ISO 220 GEAR OIL

ISO 220 food grade gear oil is a medium-to-high viscosity lubricant designed for enclosed gear systems in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing environments where incidental contact with food may occur. It’s classified as NSF H1, meaning it complies with FDA regulation 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental food contact.

• Viscosity & Application: With a viscosity of ~220 cSt at 40°C, it’s ideal for moderate-speed, high-load gearboxes, including worm, helical, and spur gears.
• Food Safety Compliance: Formulated to be odorless, tasteless, and free from animal byproducts, allergens, and GMOs. Often certified Kosher, Halal, and Pareve.
• Base Oil Options: Available in synthetic, semi-synthetic, and white mineral oil formulations. Synthetic versions offer better thermal stability and longer service intervals.
